YAH's BLESSINGS ARE CONDITIONAL
by Ari Onigen
I Kings 11v10b-13:
“10b Even though YAH had appeared to Solomon twice and had commanded him not to worship foreign gods Solomon did not obey but turned away from YAH. YAH became angry with him.
11 YAH said to Solomon: ‘as you deliberately disobey Me I promise to take the kingdom away from you and give it to another”.
YAH’s blessings are not eternal but conditional; fail to obey and they vanish. YAH had earlier warned Solomon of this in I Kings 9v2-9:
“2 YAH appeared to Solomon.YAH blesses those who bless Him and curses those who deny Him. Is all conditional. No one is an Elect.
4 He said: ‘if you serve Me. If you obey Me and do all I command
5 I promise you will rule Israel.
6 But if you disobey My laws
7 I will deport all Israel and abandon this Temple you have built Me. Peoples everywhere will ridicule Israel.
8 This Temple of yours will be a pile of rubble”.
