WISDOM OF GOD NOT MEN

Wisdom of GOD not men (1)

I Corintinians 1v20-29: 

20:"where does this leave the wise or the university types or the politicians? GOD shows all these to be fools. 

21. GOD in His wisdom made it impossible for men to know Him through 'wisdom'. Instead GOD uses the 'foolish' message we preach to save those who believe it. 

22 Jews demand miracles and Greeks 'wisdom'. 

23 Our message, the crucifixion, offends both groups. 

25 GOD's foolishness is wiser than man's 'wisdom'. 

26 Now, what about you? From man's perspective not many of you are wise or powerful or high class. 

27-28 GOD deliberately chose what the world calls nonsense to shame the wise, the weak to shame the strong and the despised to shame the social elite. 

29 This was done so that no one could boast in His presence".
